Numerous cleaning products and personal hygiene items are needed at the Day Center and by families transitioning to new homes. We welcome your help to collect these items. Please call ahead to arrange drop off so can make sure someone is able to accept them at our Day Center. To make an appointment, please call 612-529-2185.

Daily Needs:

Dishwashing Soap

Kitchen and Bathroom Sponges and Scrubbies

Paper Towels, Napkins

Toilet Paper

Paper/Plastic/Styrofoam Plates, Cups and Bowls

Plastic Utensils (spoons, forks and knives)

New Socks and Underwear (both genders, all sizes, basic white)

Boxers (men's)

Gift Cards (Target, Cub, SuperAmerica, Metro Transit, $10 ea.)

Phone Cards ($10 to $15)

Toiletries:

African American Hair Products

Bristle Brushes/Combs/Hair Clips

Deodorant (both men's and women's)

Shaving Cream

Chap Sticks/Lip Balm

For babies and children:

Disposable Diapers and Pull-ups (Size 6 especially needed now)

Teething Rings, Pacifiers, Sippee Cups, Baby Spoons

Baby shampoo, Baby Lotion, Baby Oil

Ointments and Diaper Rash Treatments (Travel sizes work best)

Powdered Formula (Similac, Isomil; Soy and Milk)

Drop-off Information:

All items can be dropped off, by appointment, at the Families Moving Forward Day Center located at: 1808 Emerson Ave. N. Minneapolis, MN 55411.
